BASIC TEACHINGS OF SATGURU SANT KESHAVADAS1. Love is the law of life. To love is to live. This divine love is Prem or the highest form of love.
2. It is the one Sun that reflects in all the ponds; it is the one water which slakes the thirst of all; it is one air which sustains all life; it is one fire which shines in all houses; colors of the cows might be different, but milk is white; flowers and bees might be different, but God is one; Nectar drunk through any vessel will bestow immortality.
3. Hate no one; Love all, for God is in all.
4. Desire is the root cause of misery; cultivate good desires to conquer bad desires and then go beyond both and be established in the Truth which is God.
5. Act righteously and leave everything in the hands of God.
6. Speak the Truth; speak softly, for speech is the essence of man.
7. Faith is the best medicine for all ailments. Faith saves; faith heals; faith is grace of God is to the faithful. Do not give up faith.
8. Read the holy scriptures. Respect all the saints and Gurus. Repeat the holy name. Pray always. Meditate everyday. Realize this universe as the lila (sport) of God. Let Dharma, God and Guru bless you all.
